After almost going broke several years ago I made a decision to go on a never ending journey to spread the word to individuals regarding personal financial responsibility. When my wife and I graduated from college our combined annual income was over $100K per year.
Oddly enough that was the worst thing that could have ever happened to us, nothing is worse than a lot of money in the hands of the ignorant. Not to say that my wife and I are not smart people, after all we have four degrees between us. However with all of our book knowledge and degrees we knew nothing about personal finance.
Through my reading I have learned that personal finance is eighty percent personal and the rest in knowledge. Because of the passion that I have for personal finance I started Alliance Financial Ministries, Inc. through this ministry I teach individuals about personal finance.
Alliance Financial Ministries, Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote financial literacy. AFM provides financial education programs for individuals and organization that want to enjoy a more financially secure future.
